Review: E.L.F. Natural Radiance Blusher - Glow

Olá!
Apresento-vos o E.L.F Natural Radiance Blusher na cor "Glow".

Este é uma blush num tom coral muito bonito com um toque de brilho dourado que, como diz o nome, dá um 'glow' mas muito discreto.
(desculpem pelas fotos, mas foram tiradas num dia de chuva. a iluminação não era a melhor)

Here is the ELF Natural Radiance Blusher in color "Glow".
This blush is a beautiful coral colour with a little bit of gold shimmer which gives a glow, but very slight.
(sorry for the pics, but were taken on a rainy day. The lighting wasn't the best)

 

Relativamente a pigmentação é boa e devem ter cuidado na aplicação, um pouco de cada vez para não ficar muito pigmentada logo na primeira aplicação. A durabilidade também é boa, aguenta bem na minha pela que não é oleosa, mas claro que durabilidade vai depender do tipo de pele de cada uma.

About the pigmentation, is good and you should be careful when applying, a little at a time if you don't want to get too pigmented on the first application. The durability is also good, and last well on my skin that is not oily, but of course that the durability varies with each skin type.

Compraria de novo? Sim, gosto da cor, cumpre a sua função e é barato.

Would I you buy it again? Yes, I like the colour, it does its job and the price is good.

 

Review: E.L.F. Metal Madness nail polish

Hoje venho dar a minha opinião sobre o verniz Metal Madness da E.L.F.

Usei-o duas vezes.

Hi everyone!

Today i'm giving you my opinion on Metal Madness nail polish from E.L.F.

I used it twice.

A cor é a sua melhor caracteristica, é um cinzento metalizado com glitter colorido.

A primeira vez q usei apliquei duas camadas do verniz apenas e durou pelo menos... 3 horas sem lascar.

Decidi dar-lhe uma segunda oportunidade e usei-o uma segunda vez aplicando duas camadas do verniz e uma camada de um top coat. Conseguiu aguentar-se cerca de dia e meio sem lascar.

Bem, eu tenho outros vernizes da E.L.F. que tem uma fixação bem melhor (como é o caso do Smoky Brown que adoro).

The colour is the best part of it, its a metallic gray shade with some colourful glitter.

The first time I applied two coats of the nail polish and it lasted ate least... 3 hours without chipping.

I decided to give it another try and used a second time with two coats of the nail polish and one top coat. It last a day and a half without chipping.

Well, I have other E.L.F nail polishes that had a better stayng power even without a top coat (like the Smoky Brown that I love).

Relativamente ao metal Madness, não voltarei a comprar, não por causa da cor que é bem bonita mas sim pela sua (falta de) fixação.

I would not buy this Metal Madness again, not because of is colour (it's is beautiful), but because of (the lack of) its staying power.

Review: E.L.F. Stipple Brush

E eis tão aguardada resenha sobre o pincel Stipple da E.L.F.

And now the awaited review about the E.L.F Stipple Brush.

Sobre o dito cujo, tenho-o utilizado há cerca de três semanas para aplicar a base liquida e tenho gostado de o usar. Espalha bem a base e ajuda a dar uma aplicação leve, ideal agora para o tempo de Verão ;).

About the stipple brush, I have used it for about three weeks to apply liquid foundation and have enjoyed using it. It spread well the foundation and helps to give a soft application which is great for this time of summer;).

 

O que a ELF diz sobre ele // What ELF says about it:

Para quem costuma visitar o blog, sabe que eu adoro também o Powder Brush da ELF para aplicar base, mas desde que comecei a usar este que aposentei o Powder brush da aplicação de base liquida, não porque deixei de gostar dele, mas porque este pincel não torna a aplicaçao de base tão pesada como o powder brush. Pelo menos, é o que penso. 

Those of you who often visit the blog know that I also love the ELF Powder Brush to apply foundation, but since I started using this one I retired the Powder brush for applying liquid foundation, not because I stopped liking it, but because this brush doesn't make the application as heavy as the powder brush. At least that's what I think.

Comparando com o powder brush podemos verificar que não é tão denso, mas as cerdas são igualmente macias.

Compared with the powder brush we can see that is not as dense, but the bristles are equally soft.

Também já ouvi dizer (em vídeos no youtube) que também é bom para aplicar blush. Ainda não tive oportunidade de experimentar, mas dado o seu tamanho e pouca densidade, acredito que seja bom para esse tipo de aplicação.

I've also heard (in youtube videos) that it's also good to apply blush. I have not had the chance to try that, but given its size and density, I think that is good for this type of application too.

Recomendo? Sim! É bom, bonito e barato!!

Do I recommend it? Yes! It's good, nice and cheap!

Hi Ladies!!


Venho mostrar o look que fiz um dia deste usando uma paleta da E.L.F., a Natural Eyeshadow Palette (ver review). Espero que gostei pois eu gostei bastante. Apesar do brilho, achei que as cores ficaram naturais, nada exageradas ;)
Here is the look have done one of these days with the E.L.F's Natural Eyeshadow Palette (see review). Hope you like 'cause it liked it a lot. Despite the glitter, I thought the colours of this look were natural, not exaggerated ;)

Review: E.L.F Natural Eyeshadow Palette

Hoje venho dar a minha opinião sobre a paleta da Natural Eyeshadow Palette da E.L.F. Esta paleta veio numa das encomendas que fiz na E.L.F. UK e foi gratuita, pois era uma oferta promocional na altura.

Today I'm giving  my opinion on the E.L.F.'s Natural Eyeshadow Palette. This palette came in one of the orders I've done in E.L.F. UK and was free, as it was a promotional offer at the time.

Sobre a paleta e cores:

A Natural Eyeshadow Palette tem 6 cores em tons dourados e castanhos. As cores são lindas, têm uma boa  pigmentação e são um pouco brilhantes, sobretudo os tons mais claros. Com esta palete podem fazer-se vários looks e bem bonitos :)

Um dos problemas que esta palete tem é o facto de perder muito pó das sombras, por isso, quando forem aplicar devem ter cuidado para não ficarem com sombra espalhada por toda a face ;). Algumas meninas aconselham a aplicação das sombras com pincel húmido, pode ser uma boa solução, mas ainda não experimentei.

Resumindo, gostei bastante da palete e recomendo :D

On the palette and colours:

The Natural Eyeshadow Palette has 6 colors in shades of gold and brown. The colours are very beautiful, have a good pigmentation and a little bit of glitter, specially the lighter shades. With this palette we can do several and beautiful looks :)

One problem is that this palette lose a lot of dust, so when you are applying the eyeshadows you must be careful, so you don't get eyeshadow spread all over yourface ;). Some girls say that if we apply the eyeshadows with  a wet brush, it can be a good solution, but I've not tried yet.

In short, I really like the palette and recommend it :D
